If your GPA is between a 2.3 and 2.5, you may apply if you pass the content GACE at the PROFESSIONAL level and your application will be reviewed by the GaTAPP Core Team. If you are employed in a Cognia-accredited private school, you must have an administrator and a peer teacher who hold Georgia certification to support you throughout the program.
If you are NOT currently employed as a full-time teacher under a contract, you cannot apply at this time. The application window for those not employed opens January 3, 2026, through May 1, 2026. Please check back at that time.
If you have questions about the application process, please e-mail gatapp@mresa.org.
